Alan was cleaning the house their fingers covered in dust and their shirt covered in rust dust and their pants covered in dirt and a lit cigarette in between their fingers they paused the cleaning for a smoke break they inhale then exhale the smoke argos comes into the room wafting away the scent of the cigarette’s smoke “geez alan the smoke smells terrible” argos said holding his stomach alan smiled putting out the cigarette and they climbed down from the ladder and dusted off some of the dirt and dust from their pants and shirt and hugged argos tightly rubbing over Argos's stomach like they were comforting the unborn baby alan ran their fingers through argos’s hair feeling the warmth and softness under their fingertips “what do you need my love?” alan asked tilting their head argos smiled “nothing darling i just wanted to see you i haven’t seen you all day” alan wrapped their wings around argos tightly holding him nin hugs them both the other two left then alan continued to clean the rest of the house their thoughts rushing only thinking of “how the hell am i supposed to clean properly if we don’t own a vacuum?” alan shook their head clearing their thoughts they relit their cigarette inhaling the smoke but holding it for a moment the smoke collecting in their lungs considering they were already dead lung cancer wouldn’t get to them alan finally exhaled the smoke filled the area clouding their vision for a moment they waft the smoke away and they found a small box they take it in one hand and open it with the other they saw a small necklace but it was glittering like a diamond they slipped on outlining their neck or what they had of a neck they looked at it the voices in their head saying a lot of kind things instead of the normal rude and harmful things  then they thought “i should give it to Saddie” all the voices in their actually agreed on something for the first time in what felt like a decade they walk out of the room to try and find saddie they took off the necklace and shoved it in their pocket and search for their daughter alan looked everywhere but they couldn’t find her they started to worry they started to turn over furniture and throw things off walls Alan started to have a meltdown they fell to the floor covering their invisable ears and they start to kick the air and cry then ego comes in the door holding saddie’s hand while she was eating an icecream alan runs to saddie and scoops her up hugging her tightly “where were you my baby?!” they exclaimed, still crying ego sighs “alright al chillout i just took her for icecream she’s alright” alan looks at ego with a death stare and speaks in an intimidating voice “Take my baby away from me I'll break you in half!... and that’s a promise!” ego goes quiet argos holds alan’s shoulders trying to calm alan down saddie was sitting on the floor playing with her dolls giggling and listening to alan freak out
